Fire represents change, life, and the spiral in the middle of it wants to symbolize the eternity of life, its continuity and perfection, as symbolized by the lotus flower, as well as overcoming difficulties.

A tribute to freedom is contained in the stylized seagull wings formed by the upper left petal of the lotus flower and the nearby small flame.
