This tattoo, requested by Clemente, represents some important moments in his life, clockwise from the bottom: from the darkness, helped by the manaia, or guardian angel, to the sunlight, with the zodiac sign of the lion becoming a koru, symbol of new life; reaching maturity (adult fern), with love (the twist) and fertility (tiki) which, through the encounter with another person (the second fern), gave life to Arianna (which means "pure", as the light colour of her koru symbolizes). The turtle shell motif symbolizes the voyage of his life, which will in the end take him back where he started, passing from sunlight to darkness under the protection of his guardian angel.
